JHTC collects personal information from different parts of this site including, but not limited to, newsletter subscriptions, event registrations, contact forms, and online giving. When you make a donation through the jGive platform, your payment details are processed directly by jGive and do not pass through or get stored on our servers. For donations by bank transfer or check, we retain only your contact details for the purpose of issuing a tax receipt.
In addition to information you provide directly, we automatically collect certain data during your visit: IP address, domain name, browser type, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and traffic source. This data is collected through the tools described in Section 6.
3. How We Use Your Information

10. Data Retention
Donor information is retained for seven years for accounting and tax purposes as required by law. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months. Newsletter subscriber details are retained until unsubscription. Contact inquiries and event registrations are retained for up to three years. Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymized.
11. Links to Other Sites
Users will find content on our site that links to third-party sites and services. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites, and they may have their own privacy policies or no policy at all.
